TV Installation Guide
Follow these steps to install Zylo Player on your Android TV or Fire TV device.
Enable Installation from Unknown Sources
If installing via sideload (not from Play Store), you need to enable this setting first:
Android TV: Settings → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources → Enable for your browser/downloader
Fire TV: Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install unknown apps → Enable for Downloader
Download Zylo Player APK
Choose one of these methods:
Method A - Downloader App:
- Install the "Downloader" app from the Play Store or Amazon Appstore
- Open Downloader and enter:
zyloplayer.com/download/tv - The APK will download automatically
Method B - USB Drive:
- Download the APK from zyloplayer.com/download/tv on your computer
- Copy the APK to a USB drive
- Insert the USB into your TV and install using a file manager
Install and Open
Once the APK downloads, your TV will prompt you to install it. Tap "Install" and then "Open" when done. The app will launch with the onboarding screen.
Note Your MAC Address and Device Key
On the login screen, go to the "Device Info" tab. You will see:
MAC Address: A unique identifier like 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX
Device Key: A 4-digit code like 1234
Write these down - you will need them to add playlists remotely.
Add Playlists
You have two options:
Option A - Directly on TV: Use the Xtream Codes or M3U tab on the login screen to enter your credentials using your TV remote.
Option B - Web Portal (recommended):
- Open zyloplayer.com/portal on your phone or computer
- Enter your MAC Address and Device Key
- Add your playlists from the comfort of a full keyboard
- On the TV app, go to Settings → "Sync Remote Playlists"
Enjoy!
You're all set! Navigate using your TV remote's D-pad. Use the back button to go back, and the select/OK button to choose items.
